The Peace Scholarship Award
The 2025 Peace Scholarship Award is presented by The PREP Academy and The Peace Tournament to African Nova Scotian students who are contributing to a peaceful society and are committed to enhancing our communities. This award is open to high school and post secondary students who are entering any program or field of study at a recognized college or university in September 2025.
Scholarship Details
The Peace Scholarship Award will select and award two youth with a $1,500 scholarship.
The scholarship can be used for tuition, registration fees, books, school supplies and other fees to help you be successful in college or university.
The 2025 Peace Scholarship Award is open and will close on Sunday, August 17th 2025.
Awards available
1 x $1,500 for a high school student
1 x $1,500 for a post-secondary student
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a grade 12 student entering college or university in September 2025
- OR; Be a current college or university student returning to school in September 2025
- This scholarship is open to any program in any field of study, at any school
- Identify as African Nova Scotian and have family ties to historic ANS communities
- Students must contribute to a peaceful society and be committed to enhancing our communities
