Scholarship Details
The PREP Academy’s Legacy Scholarship will provide three $2,000 scholarship awards to PREP students graduating high school and entering college or university.
The scholarship can be used for tuition, registration fees, books and other fees to help you be successful in college or university.
Eligibility Criteria and Requirements
A Grade 12 Indigenous African Nova Scotian student enrolled in PREP’s High School Cohort program
Entering a college or university program after high school (September 2024 or January 2025)
This scholarship is open to any program and field of study
Application Information
1. Complete the online Application Form
2. Students must email the following documents to scholarships@theprepacademy.ca:
Acceptance letter for college or university. Students who are waiting to obtain their official acceptance can apply, and will be required to provide an official acceptance letter prior to receiving the scholarship. Please inform us if you are waiting for your final response.
One formal reference from a teacher, principal, guidance counsellor or student support worker
