College and university preparation for African nova scotian high schools students.
As part of PREP Academy’s College & University Preparation Cohort program, we teach students in Grades 10, 11 and 12 to plan, prepare and pursue college and university – and continue to provide wrap around supports as they navigate their education and transition into their chosen careers.
Earn a high school credit
PREP’s College and University Preparation Program is a Personal Development Credit, the first PDC for African Nova Scotian students.
Grade 12 PREP students will have their participation count as an elective high school credit recognized on their high school transcripts. Learn more about the Personal Development Credit here.
Culturally Relevant Support
PREP Student Success Coaches deliver culturally relevant curriculum that teach students about college and university options, educational goal setting and planning, scholarships and bursaries, college and university level expectations and much more! PREP students will have access to exclusive scholarships, campus tours, waived fee waives and the ability to participate in PREP’s Micro-Internship Program.
Continued Wrap Around Support
PREP students who complete the High School Cohort Program transition into our College & University Cohort Program as they navigate their entry into and throughout their college and university experience.
