About the Scholarship

The Possibilities Award is made possible by The PREP Academy, a community based non-profit organization that inspires and prepares African Nova Scotian high school students for college and university. We help students access resources and navigate processes. Our programs provide students with culturally informed experiences, exposure and opportunities; equipping students with the tools to succeed and chart their own path to success. Together, The PREP Academy and NSCC are working to eliminate educational barriers that exist for the African Nova Scotian community. These awards are generously funded by the Jeannine Deveau Achievement Fund.

Eligibility

To be considered eligible to apply for this award, applicants must be an alumni of The PREP Academy. Please indicate in your application that you meet this eligibility requirement. Applicants must also be accepted to NSCC and in good academic standing.

    Please outline your experience with The PREP Academy and how an NSCC education will benefit the African Nova Scotian community.

  2. Community Reference
