TELUS Friendly Future Foundation® Social Impact Bursaries are awarded annually to more than 500 students experiencing critical financial need who are committed to making a difference in their communities.
Eligibility
Youth between the ages of 17 and 29 who are accepted into, or attending, any undergraduate degree or diploma program at a college, university or polytechnic institute in Canada
Canadian citizens or permanent residents
Those experiencing financial need ($65,000 or less net combined family income)
Students who are committed to developing an innovative project or venture during their studies that will have a positive social or environmental impact in their community.
Submission and Application Details
For 2023, we will be considering the first 400 applications submitted. You are encouraged to apply early. The online application portal will open on June 7, 2023 and will close on July 5, 2023 or once the maximum number of applications have been submitted.
Bursary recipients may also be eligible for free or discounted mobile or internet services, mentoring, internships and other career development opportunities.
