RBC has partnered with The PREP Academy, allowing PREP to nominate 5 African Nova Scotian PREP students for their 2025 RBC Future Launch Scholarship for Black Youth!

The 2025 RBC Future Launch Scholarship for Black Youth awards 20 scholarships worth up to $10,000 annually (for up to 4 years) to Black students across Canada.

Through the scholarship, Black youth will be supported in achieving their goals by receiving financial and mentorship support from RBC and our community partners. The program’s objective is to empower and enable Black youth to achieve their goals through hard work, mentorship, and support from RBC and Community Partners of the scholarship. Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria:

  • African Nova Scotian PREP students enrolled and active in the program; and,
  • Be a high school student entering the 10th, 11th or 12th grade in the 2024-2025 academic year; OR,
  • Be a student enrolled in post-secondary studies in a first degree/diploma at the CÉGEP, vocational, diploma or bachelor degree level at an eligible post-secondary institution* in the 2024-2025 academic year.
  • Students who's parents or guardians work at RBC are not eligible
 
Self-Nomination Process: 
Please complete this form and answer the series of questions as an integral part of your application. Each question requires the answer to be 250 words.
Students can choose to submit their responses in a video submission. Video should be uploaded to Youtube and not be longer than 2 minutes. Youtube URL links can be shared in this form as well. If you are sharing a Youtube link, please respond 'N/A' to the scholarship questions.
Students must complete this form by Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 11:59PM. 

Submission and Application Details

PREP Academy students who would like to be nominated by PREP are required to complete this self-nomination form by Sunday, October 6 2024 at 11:59PM. We will review all of the answers and identify 5 students who we will nominate.
