Valued at $1,800.00 these scholarships are available toBlack African Nova Scotian students who have successfully completed grade 12 in the Nova Scotia school system and who enroll full-time in an approved Community College or Trade School.

Eligibility

Requirements (review the application form for full details):

  • Applicant must be a Black African Nova Scotian student
  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an approved Community College, Private Career College, or Trade School
  • Applicants must be a graduate of the Nova Scotia school system

Submission and Application Details

Additional Information:

  • This award is available for one year only, unless the course of study is a two year program
  • If you are enrolling in a two year program, please note that applicants must apply for funding the following year by submitting an application
  • Students must submit an application each year to be considered for award
  • Second year funding of awards is based on satisfactory academic standing
